Following on from the award for Audlem in Bloom (as appeared on Audlem Online last Thursday) I thought that I should take this opportunity to tell of the magnificent display of red blooms that we have in the tubs.

Many folks have asked what variety they are as they have been (and are still) giving much pleasure to all. I went to the Four Oaks Growers Show last September along with Mike Haines – a member of my ADAS committee – and discovered the plant there.

I resolved that we would use it – it is called Begonia Million Bells and we obtained them from Bromac Nurseries of Wrenbury. They will be in bloom until the first frosts of winter.
