If you live in Cheshire or Warrington why not enter a competition to create an artwork inspired by your garden? According to the organisers "You are asked to reflect on the form and function of your garden, responding to its quirks and context to create a site-specific work of art." If you win you could receive free admission to National Trust properties for one year and feature in an exhibition to tour prestigious gardens in Cheshire.

The artwork competition offers 4 entry categories ie individuals under 16; groups under 16; individuals over 16 and groups over 16.

For more information on how to enter and to pick up an entry form go to: Something Beautiful (The website link that was here no longer works) or contact Katherine Stanier from Groundworks Cheshire at: Yarwoods Arm, Navigation Road, Northwich, Cheshire, CW8 1BE or tel 01606 723172.

Two important points to note are that entries must be received by Monday 16 June 2008 and that they must be created using a budget of no more than £50.
