Yesterday, BBC Radio Stoke's coverage of Audlem continued with interviews with Dave Johnston of Overwater Marina and Rod Cotterell talking about Audlem Lass, the RNLI's fund-raising locally and the WheelyBoat project he plans to launch this year.

With Billy Gibbons away on a TV audition, he had to call in the B-Team to cover in his week-long effort in the James Watt quiz. Billy and his team had set the bar very high with fourteen out of fifteen correct answers in the first three days of the week.

Well, the super-subs did pretty well with four out five correct answers yesterday and some were pretty tough questions. Indeed the one that stumped the team would have been a challenge to anyone who did not know the detailed history of painting clowns' faces on chicken eggs.

Today, the quiz continues with Colin Cliffe stepping up to the plate in Billy's place as our local media star is preparing for his live appearance on BBC Radio 4's Saturday Live programme,

Interviews with Audlem residents will continue with, we gathered yesterday, Lamont Howie talking about "the most amazing fund-raising effort you have ever heard of." We think we know what that might be but, just to be sure, tune in to the James Watt show from 1.00- 4.00pm on BBC Radio Stke this afternoon.
