Audlem Online readers may be interested to see this photo of a pair of Barn Owls spotted this week just 4 and a half miles from Audlem .
They pair up early and often start nesting in February. The Barn Owl is or was a typical farm dweller, often roosting in the rafters of old barns, which is exactly where this pair were found.
They are not common around here but you may be lucky to spot their ghostly image hunting along the hedgerows at dawn and dusk.
