Badger Cull

An AudlemOnline reader has sent us the following warning

I have just been informed by the Cheshire Constabulary that the Badger Cull starts at Midnight tonight in this area for 6 weeks.

This means that there may be gun shots in the woods, lanes and fields in the dark hours, and it would be prudent to keep your pets indoors at night for the next few weeks.

We have been unable to confirm this report – any relevant information from other readers would be welcome.
