The Audlem Wildlife and Ecology Group (AWEG) is pleased to release its programme of meetings and field trips for 2020.

Our series of meetings starts of on February 11th with a talk on Barn Owls, and then throughout the year we have further meetings with the highlights being "Bird Calls and other interesting things", "Current Environmental Issues for Wildlife" and a discussion on Spiders with the possibility of live specimens!

Our field trips include a visit to the Wildlife and Wetland Trust site at Martin Mere in March, in April a visit to areas around Ellesmere and a trip to the flower rich reserves at Melverley Meadows in June. In addition we hope to confirm a Fungi Foray next autumn.

Our meetings take place in the annexe at the public hall and all are welcome although under eighteens do need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. At present we charge £3 to cover the costs of hiring the room and the fees and expenses paid to our speakers although there is no charge for under 18's.

Full details of our 2020 programme of events can be seen by clicking here or following the links on the AOL website.
