AWEG meeting tomorrow

The next meeting of AWEG (Audlem Wildlife & Ecology Group) is tomorrow evening, Tuesday 7th June at 7.00pm in the Conservatory at the Bridge Inn. If you are interested in wildlife, you will be very welcome. There are no fees etc as the group is very informal.

The meeting will include a report by AWEG member and canal 'wildlife lengthsman' Adrian Leighton as well as a first discussion on a possible AWEG project such as a month by month review of local wildlife for possible publication as an annual report.

There will be reports on recent visits to RSPB Middleton and Burton Mere Wetlands and to Llanymynech and Jackson's Coppice as well as looking forward to planned visits to Wem/Shropshire Trail and Formby and possibly the Montgomery Canal plus any other visits that may be suggested.

AWEG meetings, which are normally every other month, always include a discussion of recent local (and sometimes not so local) sightings of any wildlife of interest.
