Regular attendees should already have received an email confirming the agenda for tonight's AWEG (Audlem Wildlife & Ecology Group) meeting at 7.15pm in the Lord Combermere.

Because of a family commitment by the chair, the meeting was postponed from 25th March to tonight.

By good fortune, the switch has allowed two speakers to attend as the date was free in both their diaries. Well-known broadcaster David Attenborough will be presenting 'Life on Earth in Dodcott cum Wilkesley' followed immediately by horticulturist Alan Titchmarsh on 'The Lost Gardens of Hankelow."

As well as our guest speakers, the agenda includes reports on recent visits and planning the programme of Spring and Summer visits; tackling local Himalayan Balsam; sightings of species by members and discussing a programme of future speakers.

As always, the meeting will finish before 9.00pm to enable the weekly Tuesday Quiz at the Lord C to get underway undisturbed.
