AWEG meeting next Tuesday

The Audlem Wildlife and Ecology Group (AWEG) are having a meeting at 7.00pm at The Bridge next Tuesday the 10th November at which Martin Varley, the Conservation Director of Cheshire Wildlife Trust, is giving a talk on the current work of the Trust.

This month's meeting promises to be of great interest as I am sure Martin is an accomplished speaker, an expert in his field and will have good knowledge of the Cheshire area.

AWEG aims to provide a focus in the village for those of us who are interested in our local wildlife, and as well as holding several meetings each year we also arrange an annual programme of events to visit different sites.

We welcome people who in are interested in our local ecology to join us and if you would like to attend this meeting please feel free to do so.

Please note that as we are expected to make a donation to The Wildlife Trust to help meet their expenses, on this one occasion attendees will be asked to participate in a small collection.
