Civicance, Cheshire East Council's wholly-owned building regulation, planning and land charges company, has snapped up its second award in a month.
Members of the Civicance team received a silver award recognising the innovative approach taken by Cheshire East in remodelling local services.
The award was presented at the eighth annual awards event held by the organisation iESE – Improvement and Efficiency Social Enterprise, highlighting the work of local authorities to reduce costs for the council taxpayer by delivering key statutory services through an arms-length company, generating income and ensuring sustainability going forward.
