Avian flu outbreak warning

A case of Avian Influenza outbreak has been reported close to the village,

The advice is

• All poultry keepers to house their birds and apply high levels of security.
• No visitors to birds .
• Disinfectant foot bath at entrance to bird housing.
• Wear clean overalls when handling birds.

If diagnosed as high risk category for Covid best to wear a mask when attending birds as avian influenza can cause respiratory conditions in humans.
