Over the past few days, AudlemOnline has been looking back at the highlights of 2014.

Today we look at September and October and will conclude the series tomorrow with November and December:

September 2014

October 2014

  • Philippa Butler now running her physiotherapy business in Audlem at the GP practice premises
  • New Audlem Art Group, led by Christine Johnson, enjoys its first (and packed) meeting at The Bridge Inn
  • ADAPT Apple Pressing Morning providing a free pressing service for autumn fruit
  • 5 Mile Fancy Dress Walk for 'Mend Our Mum' held on the 4th October raises £2,000
  • Corbrook Park summer garden party raises money for St Luke's Hospice
  • Harvest Festival Service at St James' church on 5th October
  • A525 closed for four weeks for resurfacing on Shropshire side of the border towards Woore
  • Spiltmilk Say Dance on October 11th, a sociable evening of popular dance with a friendly company of dancers and musicians show in Audlem
  • AudlemOnline scooped the village Website of the Year award for the whole of Cheshire
  • ADAS Autumn Table Top Sale on Saturday 11th October

  • Care Awareness Day at Corbrook Park care home
  • Stafford Street pavement resurfacing starts on 31st October
  • Audlem Parish Council's packed extraordinary meeting to consider the opportunities and implications of taking over the football field, car park, tennis courts, and children's play area votes that the council should do so, later supported by the Parish Council at its meeting the following week.
