Audlem's new First Responder team are photographed by Deb Roscoe-Icke. They are pictured with Mike Hill who has led the drive to get the group set up. The four volunteers – Tim Ball; Jane Palin; Andy Roscoe-Icke and Nikki Ball – have completed their training and will be responding to those calls forwarded to them by the NWAS (North West Ambulance Service) to provide assistance to patients until an ambulance arrives.

Thanks to Mike Hill's efforts, the car has been provided by Cheshire Constabulary – it will shortly take on the First Responder livery. Other volunteers are still needed so, if you are interested, please contact Community Responder manager Robert Hussey on 0151 296 1931 or 07768 032737. Or contact Mike Hill on 01270 811843 or Audlem Online will forward any details you send to the webteam on to Mike.
