AudlemOnline's editor will be away from his desk and computer for quite some time as he has had to undergo lengthy surgery again.

He was in theatre all yesterday and last night for a scheduled 20-hour operation. The length of it has meant even Bob has struggled to find the funny side of the process although we understand he has again handed a photo of George Clooney to the surgeons in case they are also armed with a magic wand.

The main reason for this message is that Bob often receives emails for AudlemOnline stories on his personal email. As he may struggle to access these in hospital, please send any AudlemOnline material to editor@audlem.org so the other members of the webteam can handle them appropriately.

We are glad to report that as of 1.45am this morning, the operation was complete and as far as can be determined at this stage was a success. We are sure all our readers will wish Bob a speedy recovery. He hopes (and so do his co-editors!) that he will be able to return to his writing and editorial duties as soon as possible.
