Audlem WI enjoys varied programme

Audlem WI's last meetings have involved, in June, the Kipling Singers from Crewe and in July, Pamela Roth demonstrating how to make tasty and simple recipes using Mornflake Oats.

June was literally bursting out all over when the Kipling Singers entertained with a sparkling repertoire of songs from shows such as Phantom of the Opera, Evita, Oklahoma and many more.

The outing to Granada Studios with Audlem Probus Club to see a recording of Mastermind was a huge success and an interesting insight behind the scenes of a TV programme.

A group of WI members has been invited to visit Corbrook Court to have tea and view the properties being built there. This will be on Wednesday 20th August. A friendly domino match has been arranged at Thornton House on 21st July and eight neighbouring WI teams will be attending.

The next meeting will take the form of a strawberry tea at Christine Plume's garden on 7th August at 2.30pm with all members welcome.
