Audlem Voices Summer Concert

Audlem Voices led by our musical director Jenny Collis Smith were delighted to be asked to sing at St Chads Church Wybunbury on Saturday 30th June where we sang a mix of light secular and sacred songs. It was a joy to sing inside this lovely modern building where the acoustics resulted in a lovely sound and both choir members and audience alike thoroughly enjoyed a relaxed evening with a rather special atmosphere.

We were pleased to have the much loved soprano soloist Jane Johnson sing with us as she captivated the audience with her polished performance of well known songs including Pie Jesu and her amusing finale "I Want To Sing In Opera." Jane loves to perform this "party piece" which she does so well with humour and style.

Refreshments were enjoyed outside in the well maintained garden on a glorious summers evening . Jenny thanked Naomi Newman for accompanying the choir and the enthusiastic audience for their attendance.
