Audlem voices

Jenny Collis-Smith writes: "Is anyone interested in joining a brand new choir in the village? In case there are some people out there who are interested in singing, I am looking to form a choir called 'Audlem Voices'.

"We will rehearse on Tuesday evenings, in Audlem Parish church from 7.30 – 9.30pm. We will begin with Stainer's 'Crucifixion' which will be performed in the church just before Easter (date tba) and after that our programme will be extended to include all sorts of music – not just religious – and hopefully we will be able to put on more concerts in the future.

"An ability to read music would be an advantage but not absolutely necessary.

Copies of the music will be given out at our first meeting (bring your own if you have it) which will be January 15th 2008.

"I shall look forward to seeing as many of you as possible – you don't have to live in the village to be a member but if you join I would ask for total commitment – please tell your friends.
