The Audlem underground river is back with us

The river is backAfter three days of dry weather (amazingly for this 'Summer'), it became clear this morning from the huge puddle outside the Fire Station that the great 'Lim Po-Po' or 'De-Nial' river is back with us, together with its unmistakable aroma.

The environmental services were on the scene to remove some of the worst of the flood where it had extended as far as the top of Vicarage Lane.
