Audlem 1st XI finished their season with a draw at home to Kerridge in Division 3 of the Cheshire Cricket Alliance. Put in to bat, Audlem got off to a strong start with captain Chris Shenton hitting a quick-fire 31 and opening partner Andy Capper making 53. A 98 run 3rd wicket stand by Andy Capper and Tom Measures took Audlem to 149 – 4 but after both were out in quick succession, it was then a struggle to a total of 187 – 9 off 48 overs. For Kerridge, captain F Ainsworth took 5 – 64 off 20 overs.

In response Kerridge never looked like they were chasing the win and ended on 154 – 8, with three late wickets making the result look tighter than it was. For the visitors, S Ward made a solid half century while R Gleave, despite batting on one leg, made a fine 34 not out. Rich Brown was the pick of the Audlem attack taking 5 – 26 off 14 overs.

Audlem took 14 points from the fixture and Kerridge 8 points.
