Audlem Sports Achiever recognised

Congratulations to Amy Bentley of Windmill Drive in Audlem who is featured and pictured in the Chronicle.

She was honoured at the South Cheshire East Sports and Physical Activity Network awards evening to highlight the best in local sport.

Amy won the Disabled Sports Achiever of the Year award. Amy, aged 20, attended the British Gymnastics National Development Plan Competition in Poole. She gained a pass at her level and is now training hard for the Gymnastics Disabilities Championships.

She is both profoundly deaf and has a learning disability but has great determination and courage enabling her to make considerable progress within gymnastics.
