Audlem School Sports Successes

Sporting Superstars!!

Congratulations to all the children who represented our school in the Crewe and Nantwich Town Sports competition this week. All of the children performed brilliantly in different running, jumping and throwing events on Monday and Wednesday evening.

Their fantastic efforts meant that our school finished in 2nd place in the field events overall and 2nd place overall for our Year 4 team.

We are all really proud of everyone that took part, well done to you all. Thanks to all of the family members and Mr Griffiths and Mrs Heathcock who cheered the children on during both evenings. It was wonderful to see our school so well represented and supported.

Active Audlem Circuit

We have had a busy week on the Active Audlem circuit this week!

Congratulations to Lexi, Harry G, Hugh, Skye, Jack, Freddie, Abby, Jacob, Toby, Fern, Grace, Oliver Q, Oliver T-G, Isabella, Ruby, Benji, Rita, Alfie, Harry M, Archie, Ella and Chloe (in Amethyst class), Max and William (in Sapphire class), Jasper (in Pearl class) and Tyler, Toby, Adam, Ruby, Meghan, Raif and Millie Jay (in Diamond class) who have all successfully completed 10k. Also to Jay (in Ruby class) who has successfully completed 20k.

...and finally some WOW moments...

We regularly celebrate Wow Moments in our special Praise Assemblies each Friday. Recently we have been able to celebrate some super news together.

• Annie Goodwin (in Diamond class) has qualified for the Royal International Horse Show on her pony, Treowen Ranger. She became Champion of the recent Cheshire Show and of the Royal Windsor Show and these fabulous achievements means that she has now qualified for Olympia in December.
• Esther Wilding (in Ruby class) has been ranked in the UK's Top 10 under 11 girl athletes. She is the youngest girl in the Top 10 and has achieved this through her fabulous sprinting, long jumping and long distance running performances recently.
