I hope that everyone had a lovely bank holiday weekend and were able to spend more quality time with family and friends.

We have now completed three weeks of the summer term. Next week the Year 6 will be sitting their SAT's and I know that they have been working hard all year and will achieve great things.

Thought of the Week
Every part of a school is important, governors, heads, teachers, support staff, admin staff, kitchen staff, MDAs, site maintenance staff, children, parents and volunteers helping out in school. Each one of these 'parts' creates a unique and amazing 'body' of a school; each part playing an important role in school life.

This ensures that children have the best education possible, academically, spiritually, morally and socially. so that they flourish as important and integral parts of society.

By working together, they make a huge difference and especially in these difficult times when school
life is so different and children's needs are so much more. Every person involved with a school makes a difference and should be celebrated for the contribution they make.

As Paul says 'if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it'.
