All fourteen Primary Schools and two Secondary Schools in the Nantwich Education Partnership will be taking part in SKOOLSFEST 2014 in Nantwich on Saturday 28th June.
The day will begin with the 'Big Sing' which is a combined schools' choir (including children from the KS2 classes in Audlem School) singing on the Green outside St Marys Church. (Wet weather alternative is the Civic Hall.)
Nantwich Museum will host an exhibition, featuring artwork collected from all the schools in Nantwich, including items from Audlem school pupils, on the theme of "People of Nantwich".
The Journeyman is showcasing story telling throughout the day, and Diamond class from Audlem are working with the Journeyman to create storytelling drama pieces which they will perform on the day too.
In the Civic Hall, school bands will be competing against each other in the Nantwich 'Battle of the Bands', Author Rachael Lindsay will be based at the library whilst Urban Strides are offering Dance Workshops at the Parish Rooms. We even hope to be doing Maypole Dancing.
Along with all the other activities going on in Nantwich there will be plenty to do all day.
