Audlem Saints U8s continue winning ways

Audlem Saints surged closer to their first league title on Sunday with a ninth straight win. Once again, solid defence was the foundation on which they built. The fifth clean sheet of the season was kept and indeed the team has conceded only 5 goals in 9 games. Accurate passing and good finishing ensured a well earned 5-0 victory. With three games left to play, Audlem Saints need to get a draw or better against 2nd placed Bocca on Sunday to secure the league title, having finished runners up twice. If they are beaten on Sunday, Saints will need a win from one of their last two games to make sure of the Championship. Hold your nerves boys and hold your breaths parents & supporters!
