Audlem Saints Remember

As you may be aware, I head up the Audlem Saints Football coaching every Saturday morning on the village playing field. Along with a very dedicated band of coaches -- all volunteers -- who give to the children a simple set of games and tasks , all football related.

We have some 70 boys and girls from age 5 upwards signed up and do have a very good turn out of them -- plus parents etc.

This Saturday is very special in that we will be standing for the silence in memory of all those who have suffered in all the conflicts of the last 100 years or more.

At 1045, we will all gather on the centre circle and Rachel Woolam of the Cheshire Constabulary Police Band will sound the last post . Then at 1100, a minutes silence observed by all -- followed by the sounding of "Reveille " .

A special day for all and this will be followed on Sunday when we go to the service at St James with three of the children to lay a wreath and crosses on behalf of Audlem Saints. .

We hope that you will join with us on Saturday for this very important moment of reflection and remembrance .
