AUDLEM SAINTS FOOTBALL CLUB

At the weekend just gone, we supported a friendly game of Mums and Dads versus Boys and Girls. As you saw in my report on AOL.

A happy short game, sadly in poor weather , with cold rain.

Played in good heart and all enjoyed the occasion. Hope to do it all again as a village friendly.

Some dissent has been heard — by those who would seek to darken the good fun that many, many children enjoy on a Saturday morning, with some 16 plus coaches giving them basic training of the game. And given freely !

Audlem Saints was started some 20 years and more ago and has been a success story to be proud of.

As usual there are those who "do" and those few who seek to snipe , behind a cloak of anonymity.

I am proud to be the Chairman of Saints, and will do all I can to help, until such time as my days are over
