Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) is delighted to be resuming regular walks from Saturday 10th April.
Led by Christine Johnson, leaving from Audlem Car Park at 8.30 am, it is an 8 miler to ease us back into distance walking. From Audlem we walk via Bunsley Bank, Sparrowy Spout, to Hatherton, returning via Hankelow and the canal.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we have had to break with the usual tradition of just turning up on the day as it is essential to control numbers, understand the conditions and register your details.
So if non-members are interested in attending please email the secretary on audlemramblers@hotmail.co.uk for more information.
NB All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.
Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.
Non-members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
