Audlem Ramblers

The next Audlem Ramblers (ARS) walk is on Saturday 29th June 2024 led by Jeanette Shenton.

Meet in Audlem Car Park to depart at 08:30

The walk will start at The Sneyd Arms car park Keele, ST5 5AD (we have been given permission to park here)

This is a 5.0 mile 2 booter circular walk, starting in Keele village, moving on past Keele Hall and onto the woodland walks around the University Campus (Keele has one of the largest campuses in Europe and is situated in 240 ha. of landscaped grounds)

Part of the walk is along gravel path and all-weather surface. However, large parts are on uneven tracks, following the side of lakes and streams which will be muddy given the wet weather we have seen recently.

It is an undulating walk with one series of 30 steps.

NB All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.



Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.



Non-members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
