Audlem Ramblers next Wednesday (October 1st) Walk

The next Wednesday Ramble is on the 1st October and will be led by Peter Jackson, meeting time is 09.30 a.m. in the Town Hall Car Park.

From the Car Park, we will head for Monks Lane, via Mill Lane, and make our way to Sparrow Spout Lane and Longhill, which will lead us to Kettle Lane. Then onwards to Paddock Lane and Wood Orchard, then across to Sandy Lane Farmland to Audlem Vale and back to the Village.

The walk is 5 miles long, and we will of course have a short break for refreshments.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has come along to these Wednesday Walks and made them so successful. This is why I have decided to extend the walks for another month, and depending on the response, maybe keep them going on a month by month basis.

NB. All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.
Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.
Non-members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
