Audlem Ramblers Next Walk

Audlem Ramblers (ARS) Wednesday Walk Audlem to Hankelow Circular

The next Wednesday ramble is on 11th June, and is a 5 mile walk which will be led by Peter Jackson. We will meet at 09.30 in the main Audlem Car Park.

We will then leave the Car Park and head for Monks Lane, then across The Parkes to the Audlem/Hankelow road. The walk is then mainly fields and tracks and there are 5 stiles which are all in good condition.

When we reach Coole Lane, we will join the canal tow path and head for the Shroppie Fly.

The walks are quite popular, and will hopefully remain that way, but if you have a favourite five mile local walk and would like to lead it, then please let me know, as we will need to cover holidays etc. over the summer season.

NB. All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.


Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.


Non-members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
