We will meet at Audlem Car Park at 8.45am. The walk is a loop from Woore to Checkley Lane over undulating ground -comprised of fields ,tracks and a short length of lane. There are pleasant views and the going when recced this week was fairly firm with a few muddy bits. There may be sheep in one or two fields. Some stiles are slippy! – the walk is about six and three quarter miles
To get to the start- drive to Woore, cross the main road and take the first left into St Leonard's Way. We can park there or on Blaizefield Close-from where our walk commences.
NB All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.
Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.
Non-members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
