Audlem Ramblers (ARS) Short Walk on Saturday 29th August

This short walk will be led by Peter Jackson and will be a flat stroll along Ellesmere Lakeside, with paths and tow path, and will be a total of 6 miles. We will meet at Audlem Car Park at 09.00 a.m. and then drive to the first car park on the right as you enter Ellesmere on the A495 which is a Pay & Display.

From the Car Park we will walk along the Lakeside and through the woods, then make our way through the town to The Wharf to join the Canal Tow Path. We will then head for Blakemere then towards Colmere where we will take a break before making our way back to the Car Park.

NB. All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.

Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.

Non-members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
