If your child is 4 by 31st August 2009 then you'll be starting to think about their first day at school. Audlem St James Primary School has places for a maximum of 30 children for the September 2009 Reception class which are currently being taken on a first come first served basis (subject to catchment area). To ensure your child has a place then you must register with Cheshire's Admission Team by telephoning 0845 1110 304 or register online at www.cheshire.gov.uk/admissions ; email admissions@cheshire.gov.uk">admissions@cheshire.gov.uk as soon as possible as last year's 30 places were filled.

The school prides itself on delivering a balanced education to all abilities, whilst maintaining close links to the community. The children participate in many village events as well as wider schools trips. We have a large playing field, an on site pre-school nursery (3-4years) a charity run Tree House play group (2½ – 3 years) and offer before and after school hours childcare to support working families. We even have live chickens hatching in the Reception class!

If you would like to know more about Audlem St James' Primary School, then please contact our Headteacher, Mrs Catherine Nolan-Burnitt on 01270 685120. Mrs Nolan-Burnitt will be pleased to show you round the school and answer any of your questions. Please note that any requests for admissions once the class has been filled can only be made on appeal to the County Council.
