APC will be producing a short update following each monthly meeting. We feel this will make it easier for people to see, at a glance, topics discussed in the Council, rather than having to read the full Minutes. If you have any issues for APC, please contact the Parish Clerk on parishcouncil@audlem.org
A request was made for support from APC to discuss the run of water in a Salford garden. The Environmental Agency visited the property in question as sewage is now flowing into other gardens in the area. APC will be taking this up with CEC Highways.
Most of the faults/repairs found during Councillors' asset inspections have now been made good. Outstanding action is the Butter Market roof tiles, which are due to be fixed very shortly.
The roads near Bagley Lane are narrowing due to silt build-up. APC and CEC Highways have visited the area and a report will shortly be produced for APC to consider.
There has been a big improvement in keeping the drains clear. If, however, you notice one in need of attention, please do let the Parish Clerk know.
A planning application has been received at CEC for affordable housing to be built on land off Audlem Road, Hankelow. APC has submitted a letter to Hankelow PC raising concerns of the potential impact on Audlem services, e.g., the Doctors' surgery.
APC has received notification of a payment of £29,000, which is coming from CEC from the Community Infrastructure Levy and is to be used for infrastructure projects where there has been housing growth.
