Many of our readers will have seen the Newsletter from Antoinette Sandbach describing her position on Brexit and the current impasse in Parliament on the way forward.

Obviously this subject is very controversial at this point and indeed acrimonious at times and we have received several emails and chat box items on this subject. As a web team we have had to decide on an editorial policy on this subject which has been given some careful thought.

We believe this is essentially a national debate for which there are many forums for people to express their views rather than AudlemOnline be a focus to create division in the local community.

Since the debate on the way forward is at times acrimonious we feel it could well swamp AudlemOnline and deflect it from its key objectives of bringing local news to readers and promoting local businesses / groups.

Our policy for the next few weeks ,therefore, will be not to publish articles ( from emails ) and Chatbox items on this subject until the way forward has been decided.
