Audlem Needlework Shop – Abacus Designs at Audlem Mill

To commemorate (or perhaps compete with) our wonderful refit in the Canal Shop on the ground floor at Audlem Mill, we have several new ranges of needlework kits upstairs.

Smile, and if you are like me, breathe in slightly at Beryl Cook. The usual suspects are celebrating in the hot tub, cycling, and enjoying a night out -- but not all at the same time obviously (though I know that we ladies can multitask). At least one of these will evoke a few memories.

Marvel at Lowry's characters going about their everyday business – back and forwards to the Mill, watching an arrest, and crossing the canal bridge; and, of course, off to the pub!

These kits are available both in cross stitch and tapestry format.

Laugh at "stacks" of cats and dogs with wonderful expressions.

There are many other kits, too numerous to mention, so please visit and understand my enthusiasm.

Don't forget all your other stitching requirements -- blackwork, gold work, stumpwork, crewel work, embroidery, cross stitch. Plenty of books, fabric for stitching, and, if we don't have it, please ask, and we'll do our best to get it for you.

P.S. for all those who have been to visit our refitted Canal Shop, we would both like to say a huge "thank you" for all your compliments, and if you haven't been yet, please do come. Our Art exhibition is still on till 14th April, and it is very much worth a visit.
