The 2008 Audlem Music and Arts Festival, promises to be an event not to be missed. Starting on the 23rd of May the festival runs for four days with fabulous local art being exhibited all over the village, along with cracking performances from local musicians and internationally recognized bands.

This year the Bill Bailey all star celebrity jazz band (voted most entertaining band at the prestigious Enkhuizen Jazz Festival in Holland), and irish folk sensation Murphy's Marbles headline at the outdoor Combermere stage. An undercover area is being created in the pub's car-park, where specialist cask ales will be available from an outside bar.

The usual festival favorites, Jim Kirkpatrick's Heavy Weather, Congleton based soul band Funk School, and Flight 505 are all booked. Audlem's local young bands The Strangers, Fake Heroes, Crash Course and The Defense are also performing along with almost 40 other acts. This year will also feature a special performance of music by St James School and an evening of drama by the Nantwich Players in our Public Hall.

If you can, please come and support this event in your village. Starts Friday 23rd of May. All gigs are FREE except the Nantwich Players Drama evening. Download the full programme. (The website link that was here no longer works)
