Audlem Mill has reopened after the winter break

Audlem Needlework Shop (on the first floor) has had a huge makeover and refit during the winter.'

To celebrate, we have added major brands of new stock.... Beautifully presented new tapestry kits from Bothy Threads, and embroidery kits from new company Hawthorn Handmade which include a hoop. Their new weaving kits form the start of a weaving section, together with their pop-up loom at exceptionally low prices – and to get started, boxes with all the requirements you might need to get weaving.

We have also extended our range of threads, which now includes thirty shades of perl' thread in two different weights – 60 shades in all! Our craft, needlework, knitting and crochet books have now been extended with new book cases, reaching across the width of the shop!'

They must be seen – too many to cover here. And don't forget that we have some fabulous fat quarters of fabric for sale, all profits going to the repair fund for St James Church. We have just donated the amazing sum of £97.25.

New stock on the ground floor gift shop includes Eazi-Candle, a wonderful way of creating candles in your own containers (glasses, pottery etc.), with a selection of fragrances and colours.' Also just in are book lights, bookmarks and book accessories from That Company Called If, and cards, tea towels, coasters, trays etc. with a canal theme, from Emma Ball.

More new stock will be arriving weekly; this is just the beginning of the season.

Come along to Audlem Mill for a good look round.' We're open every day from 10.00-4.00 in March (and 9.00-5.00 from April) – onward and upward!
