Audlem Mill Art Exhibition

Every Year Audlem Mill hosts an exhibition of what is, probably now, the largest number of canal paintings assembled anywhere.

The 2014 Canal Art Exhibition runs from Sunday 6th April until Saturday 4th May, and is organised in conjunction with the Guild of Waterway Artists.

It will include original paintings, and some photographs, by many of the best canal artists in the country, including Audlem resident Sheila M Webster.

The exhibition always attracts many hundreds of visitors from across the country to Audlem. Most come by car but some by boat.

Several visitors have said they now plan their season's boating to make sure they are on the canal, here, at the right time – and of course they can enjoy other delights of the village.

The Canal Exhibition is just one of the events organised by Audlem Mill.

The next major event is the Gathering of the Historic Boats on the 26th/27th July. About 50 boats are coming – far more than in previous years- so there will be lots to see.
