Audlem ladies enjoy Hockey Team Promotion

Audlem ladies – Kate Goodwin, Keeley Hathaway and Catherine Reece-Gresty – celebrated their team's promotion on Saturday from Div 5 to Div 4 in Cheshire Women's Hockey League.

All three have enjoyed playing for Whitchurch Hockey Club this season and are thrilled to be part of a winning team that beat competitors from across Cheshire, including Warrington, Macclesfield, Alderley Edge, South Cheshire (Congleton) and especially the team from Crewe Vagrants.

The ladies will be taking a welcome break from hockey until May, when 'Back 2 Hockey' starts at Whitchurch.

This is a national scheme supported by England Hockey, aimed at people who have played at school, but not since and want to give hockey a go again. This will run alongside the Academy (5-12yrs) from 10.00 -11.30am for six weeks from 9th May at Sir John Talbot's School in Whitchurch.
