Audlem in Waterways World

The latest edition of the popular canal magazine "Waterways World" has a short feature by Peter Silvester of Audlem Mill on the historic boats that attended the Audlem Festival of Transport on 26 July, together with a photo.

Copies of Waterways World are available at Audlem Mill.

Nine historic narrow boats were in Audlem that weekend. Many Festival-goers went on board a number of the boats and learnt much about life on the canals when whole families could be living in a 10ft long cabin.
