Please, has anyone kept mementoes of the Audlem Horticultural Show such as newspaper cuttings, prize winning tickets or even the winners' cups.

If so, please contact me on 01270 811260 or email at cvb@kinseycottages.org.uk

The momentoes could then be photographed and used in a display at the August Bank Holiday Buttermarket event to be run by ADAPT (alongside the Beer Festival).

I have a postcard of 1911 showing the marquees and crowds, subscribers'
tickets from the 1930s kept by T W Hardy and a few cuttings from 1978 to
1987.

Anything else would be very welcome. Does anyone remember the last year that it was held?

I have been going through the film of the Nantwich Chronicle held at
Nantwich Library and got to 1987 but the images are not all that great.

Frank Goodwin told me that Cobham's flying circus came in the 1920's and I know it was a big event with loudspeaker lorries advertising it in the
Potteries – probably special trains put on.

Oh the good old days!
