The Audlem Festival about to start

The build up continues apace as we get closer to the starting line. The gun is about to be fired and all systems ready for the Big Festival.

Art displays are being built and our very sincere thanks to Andy McClintock for so freely giving of his time and his trusty van to transport the 12 huge display boards from my house where I had been painting them.

Yet another fine example of the community spirit that we all enjoy here -and of the pulling togetherness.

The kaleidoscope of musical talents are all primed to give of their best in the three pubs, the Scout Hall, St James Church and the Methodist Church – plus the famous Blues Alley. A true "tour de force" to suit all tastes.

We, the Festival team for the Music and the Arts, do hope you will all enjoy the fruits of all our labours over these past eight months or so.
