Audlem FC match postponed

This weekend we had to postpone the home tie as the pitch needed a rest from the wear and tear of last Sunday which left it a glutinous morass.

The pitch was so damaged by the untimely attentions of Cheshire East in January. Hopefully the resting will help. And do remember we, AFC, pay £400 a season to play the games there – on our own village playing field.

We kick off again next Sunday, 8th March, versus Crewe F C. in a league Match, a team we played last September and were beaten 5-4 in a tight game.

Referee on the day is Des Evans – head of all league referees. We can win this one, I believe, and get points on the list!
