Audlem famous in London

Peter and Chris Silvester from Audlem Mill have just returned from exhibiting at the four day Knitting and Stitching Show at Alexandra Palace in London, where their stand featured only their own design knitting, needlecraft and cross stitch kits, all produced in Audlem.

This show attracts visitors from across the country, and Peter and Chris were amazed to find how many people had been to Audlem, most by canal. And if the people at their stand hadn't been to Audlem, Peter and Chris spread the word about how wonderful our village is.

The needlework shop at the Mill has just opened a goldwork section, and now has several Christmas fabrics by Rose & Hubble by the metre, half metre, or 'fat quarter'.

The needlecraft courses start this coming weekend, with Rag Rugging on Saturday, and Peg Loom Weaving on Sunday. There is one place still available for Peg Loom – phone 811059 for more information.
