When you buy a bunch of British Daffodils at £1 . Think of what the grower gets. Do you ever read the tag that comes with the bunch .
I quote " place the daffs in a vase with water . Warning . Flowers are not suitable for consumption . Harmful if eaten! Wash your hands after handling the flowers as they may cause skin or eye irritation ! ". I tell you, this health and safety malarkie is just too much .
Do you remember when as a child, we picked a bunch to bring home to our mum after a day playing out in woods and ponds . Coming home with wet clothing and mucky faces .

BUT -Back to now .

We, as a team will face all sorts of danger as we meet out next opponents.
Now , with our game versus Sandbach Town F C , we face the rest of all the games with the knowledge that each and every one is in effect a cup final as we battle to retain the top position of the division.

Good turnout of players . Including the key men for victory . Referee is Kevin Kelly .
Manager Kev Mort must pull on his vast experience of play over many years -- and set up our play with the best chance of scoring .
Audlem playing field in reasonable condition and grass is growing In these mild months . Lined out by Cheshire East for which we pay just under £500 a year.
The welcome return of our superman number 2 -- Ross Henderson -- from long stretch after severe injury, and top scorer Nick Gregory back from business trip to Bahrain .

A soggy day which will play havoc with the white shorts giving Rachel our superb secretary a job and a half to get clean .
Normal fast and furious as players get into the task ahead. Sandbach not with many subs whereas we have 6 !
11:03 -First corner goes to STFC . No gain
11:05 -Will Cork races up field but his fine shot is saved.
We then get a corner, goalie tips a shot over the bar and another corner to us -- no gain
David Farral -- executive of the league -- arrives.

Referee stops play. Dog muck spotted. Mgr Kev Mort races on with spade from my car. So sad that dog owners allow such.
Very noisy game as each side so wound up . Game a bit scrappy as the pitch cuts up bad .

Players less vociferous now .

A race up field and referee blows for full time as the ball is looping towards our goal . Game over as ball nestled in our net.
Very novel end of a game. A game where our opponents have payed so well , matching us all the way. Their goalkeeper was excellent as was their number 20 . A clean game made all the more remarkable as the pitch cut up so badly and the ball not running free
So another win .
We are still unbeaten .
