According to official police figures there were 12 incidents of crime reported within a one mile radius of Audlem in May 2013.

Statistics released by police show five incidents of anti-social behaviour, two incidents of violence and one each of burglary, criminal damage, theft, shoplifting and vehicle crime.

Outcomes of anti-social behaviour are not recorded but five of the reported incidents were in or near the village centre and one on or near Emberton Place.

Of the two incidents of violence, one was in Kingbur Place, where there were also incidents of a burglary and of shoplifting, and the other was on or near Armstrong Close. Investigations into all these incidents is continuing.

No further action was taken on a report of criminal damage on Matthews Way or on a report of theft on or near Aldelyme Court.
