With the season almost upon us most of the ground preparations, improvements to the infrastructure and winter maintenance are nearing completion.

The opening match is taking place this Saturday with a preseason friendly against neighbouring Betley. The game is due to start at 1.00pm with 40 overs per team.
The club has lost the services of allrounder Callum McIlveen who after giving years of service to the cause has opted to join Kidsgrove CC who finished one place above Audlem last season and take one of the two promotion places on offer behind eventual champions, Porthill Park. The club would like to thank Callum for all his efforts over the years and wish him well for the future.

Audlem have made some prominent signings during the close season with Ben Sailsbury, Sebin Sunny & Marcus Taylor hoping to make an impact alongside Richard Wilson who is returning to the UK after several years living and working in Madrid.

The following Saturday the league season gets underway with a home fixture against Audley CC and the next day the Sunday team play hosts to Column CC from Shrewsbury who are new opponents on the fixture list. As soon as the weather relents the outdoor nets will be starting and are open to anyone to come along and have a go. The Sunday team especially are always on the look out for new players and with games every weekend throughout the season there will be plenty of opportunities.

The club is still on the look out for ball sponsors for the games and would welcome anyone who wants to promote their business or enterprise. All the contact details for members and officials can be found on the club's playcricket website.
