ADAPT Audlem s environmental and sustainability group, will be holding their second and last 2025 Community Apple Pressing Event this Saturday. October 11th 10am to 2pm

It's held on Audlem Methodist Chapel Carpark, with plenty of room for to bring car loads or bucket loads of fruit along.
Calling everyone that has access to ripe apples and pears,--

Just bring your washed fruit and plenty of containers, and get them made into juice free of charge.

It's fun for accompanied children and adults alike who will be encouraged to help.

Pressing can be messy, so old clothes recommended.

You have many options for your juice. :

• Making fresh apple juice to drink within a week,
• Cider will take a little longer,
• Cider vinegar,
• Freeze the juice,
• Use it in recipes,
• Pasteurise it for keeping up to 3years.

Don't allow your fruit to go to waste, bring it along.

We have a few demijohns and 5 gallon fermenters for sale if needed.

All the pressing residue will go to feed the pigs at Fordhall Farm unless you want to keep it for your own use. We don t like anything going to waste.!!
