The Beer Festival this weekend brings with it a fantastic weekend of live music at The Lord Combermere starting on Friday night through to Monday night..

Below are your acts for Friday and Saturday

Friday 26th August at 2100 hours - Alex Hulme

Alex Hulme returns to Audlem and his previous visits have gone down a storm.  Alex is a fine songwriter with great potential, he has a great sense of POP and can always churn out a really catchy melody with very emotive lyrics.

Saturday 27th August at 1500 hours – Gideon Conn

Manchester-based artist and musician Gideon has been astonishing crowds in the UK . He is a uniquely gifted songwriter who uses a broad spectrum of music to conjure up songs that you will never have heard the like of before. Whether solo acoustic or with his lively and lovable band, he never fails to fill you with wonder and leave you with a massive grin! Gideon will be one of the highlights of the weekend!!


1800 hours – Garron Frith


Garron is a musician from Stalybridge. His debut album received 5/5 Sunday Express, 4/4 Maverick Magazine as well as Manchester Music calling him one of Manchester’s most underrated singer/songwriter. Through the album Garron started getting supports slots with everyone from Peter Green & Robyn Hitchcock to Imedla May & Madeleine Peyroux as well as constant solo and band gigging.

2100 hours – Alexis McLean

Alexis went down a storm recently when she played her debut set in Audlem, Alexis has possibly the best Nu Folk voice in the country which is backed up by her superb guitar playing. Guy Garvie lead singer from Elbow hails Alexis as one of his favourite artists.
 
The acts for Sunday and Monday will follow over the next two days,,, but as a taster Adam and Joe from Audlem favourites The Travelling Band are here on Monday at 1800 hours.
